Board Members

The Golden Lakes CDD is governed by a five-member Board of Supervisors, elected by the residents and registered voters of the District every even year. The next general election will be in November 2018 for Seats 1, 2, and 3. These elections are facilitated by the Polk County Supervisor of Elections. Consultants

The District is authorized to hire a District Manager as the chief administrative official of the District. The District Manager shall have the charge and supervision of the works of the District. The District Manager is responsible for preserving and maintaining any improvement or facility constructed or erected pursuant to the provisions of the Act (see more details about the Act on What is a CDD page), for maintaining and operating the equipment owned by the District, and for performing such other duties as may be prescribed by the Board. Severn Trent Services serves as District Manager.

The Board has also employed the services of Envisors, LLC as District Engineer and Clark & Albaugh, LLP as District Counsel.
